Host, David: Hello NULS Community! This is David, I am one of the community leaders from the newly created NULS West team serving as Operations Director and I am based in San Francisco.
Tonight, I’m honored to present NULS new partner Vibook who have just launched their SCO. I have personally had the opportunity to get to know the Vibook team over the past few months and find them to be very well-respected experts in the academic/literary vertical, exceptionally business savvy, blockchain fluent and passionate about making a positive impact on society.
So this evening, I am very pleased to introduce Gustavo Concalves, Founder and Whanderson Muniz, Director of Integration & Communities who will introduce us to Vibook and discuss their SCO. Hi Gentlemen and welcome to NULS Telegram community.
Gustavo: Hi David and everyone in the NULS Community, I am Gustavo, Founder of Vibook. We are very pleased to meet the NULS community this evening.
David: Question 1 — Great, Gustavo. Would you please start by giving us a brief introduction of Vibook?
Gustavo: The Vibook platform is a blockchain-based social knowledge-sharing network, considered by many to be one of the biggest technological disruptions in this age of knowledge.
Vibook connects readers, critics, authors, academics, and service providers, that unifies all users by focusing on information through a cohesive and engaging experience.
The platform is a resource for knowledge seekers to unite and create a foolproof, organized outlet that seeks to TRANSFORM THE PUBLISHING INDUSTRY and the way it engages using Blockchain technology.
David: Question 2 — What kind of project is Vibook, and what problem is being solved?
Gustavo: Vibook is a community-oriented project and therefore aims to be a motor and facilitator for content creation and distribution. It is totally focused on solving the problems of the creative economy, specifically the literary / academic environment, seeking to bring tools that help in the most organic distribution and the possibility of easy registration. Understanding this, the great idea is for the community to produce content and services to feed it.
David:Question 3 — What advantages do you think Vibook has in this vertical?
Gustavo: Vibook is a complete suite of solutions for the literary market. We have the differential of grouping people with common interests by reading in a social network. In this social network, writers and readers will share experiences and get close, creating a network that generates fruits and revenue while creating relationships and fostering culture.
As such, Vibook comes to revolutionize, offering more than today’s famous marketplaces and creating value in people, social life and culture.
In addition, Vibook also offers targeted and personalized services for writers, so that they can better bond with their target audience, in a way never before seen in the market, as well as commercial and editorial solutions for these workers.
David: Question 4 — Why use blockchain and what is the core use of blockchain for Vibook?
Gustavo: Understanding the challenges employed to provide the literary / academic supply chain using blockchain solves the issues of registration, security, monetization and copyright payments. Besides being in our plans we are a totally decentralized social network giving much importance to governance.
David:Question 5 — What is the token circulation of the Vibook project, and how many tokens are planned to be used for SCO?
Gustavo: The Vibook project will have 100,000,000 tokens in total and 25,000,000 will be allocated to the SCO, with a plan to use 10% of the proceeds to buy back Vibook holders.
The funds raised through the SCO will be used for product development, marketing, operations, rewards program and the Vibook buy back.
David: Question 6 — Could you elaborate more about your plan for existing users and goals for new users and overall road map?
Gustavo: To better understand what we want to do we have to understand how Vibook is today, despite all our efforts we had some difficulties in capturing it in the previous phase, today we have a base of currency users as well as social network users, but even that does not translate into sustainability.
Our goal through SCO is to create a direct community promotion (old and new) by making direct use of the NULS that we will collect via SCO, so we will use 10% of the funding to buy back from all users, thus creating a form of community appreciation, but also creating sustainability for the Vibook token.
As for our goals, I can already say that we will start in Q1 the development of the first products, giving extreme focus to Notary, since being incubated in UFRPE will be a great billing instrument, thus giving possibilities for more than 50 thousand annual registrations, totally focused on academic and entrepreneurial projects. At the same time the Social Network update is already under development and will be delivered in early April.
David: It sounds like you have a high confidence level in achieving the goals in the roadmap.
Gustavo: David, every effort will be made towards achieving these goals, but with all transparency, I also take into account the possibility of delays, which may occur as much as a result of funding or technical resource issues. However, I can say that the community and stakers will always be well informed of our progress, possible delay, and the corrective steps we are taking. I even leave here the possibility of accepting new developers and collaborators from other areas.
David: Question 7 — What kind of marketing is Vibook planning for 2020?
Gustavo: In our planning for the year 2020 Vibook’s strategy initially aims to attract through its rewards within the social networks, content creators who will produce through blogging tools and adding books to the platform, thus obtaining rewards on cryptocurrencies and aggregating value to content.
Later in Q3–2020, through our partnerships with educational and event institutions, Vibook will begin to work as a means of payment for cultural and entrepreneurial events, thus creating an inclusive tool for introducing cryptocurrencies, as well as assisting in our payment. suite of products and services. Of course, we should not neglect digital marketing, proposing to link local ambassadors to foster communities and attracting local service providers.
David:Questions 8 — What is the reward of participating in the Vibook SCO?
Gustavo: The project’s central objective is to enhance the value of token holders and users by harnessing actual use within their product suite. Our strategies range from use for services within the social network, registration and proof of authenticity to copyright, as well as copyright payment and even financing of creative economy projects.
Also, remembering that one of the most important aspects is the buyback commitment, where 10% will be used to buy back Vibook tokens, thus creating a community valuation mechanism. Simplifying, Vibook seeks in the future to be a fully decentralized network, with governance in its many aspects and always seeking to value its content and community as a whole.
David: Question 9 — Can we Stake in your SCO now?
Gustavo: Yes, Vibook SCO is available to earn VIBK now through NULS POCM platform or you can also stake directly on the Vibook node.
David: Thank you, I will now open up questions to the community.
Question: When will Vibook be listed on an exchange(s)?
Gustavo: We are planning a listing between late Q1 2020 or early Q2 2020
Question: Is there any other way to get Vibook besides SCO?
Gustavo: At the moment Vibook’s VIBK (NRC-20) tokens are only available by staking in our SCO. However, the old Vibook tokens that were listed on Altmarkets Exchange will be swapped for the new VIBK (NRC-20) Tokens. We will provide information to those token holders about when and how that swap will take place.
Question: Is there a minimum stake and also what is the staking reward for example, if I stake 1000 NULS, what is the monthly / yearly reward?
Gustavo: The minimum stake using the POCM Platform is 100 NULS and the daily rewards for 100 NULS is 3.4116 VIBK.
Quetion: Why are you using NULS SCO? The current price of NULS is low, can the rewards support your project operation?
Gustavo: NULS technology and its SCO approach brings a sustainable opportunity. I believe that by working well and keeping in touch with the community, the Vibook project will achieve its goals.
