On the afternoon of May 14 in New York City, the NULS U.S community meetup was successfully held. People from various branches of the NULS project were present including developers, consultants and operations personnel. Each of them spoke to an audience of community members and investors from all over the world about the many technical features and application prospects unique to NULS, presenting it as the world’s best universal enterprise-level blockchain technology solution.

Lin Yang : “If I don’t code every single day, my life becomes a wreck!”

Lin Yang from the NULS community is one of the core contributors to the NULS code. At the meeting, he shared his 8 years of programming experience, saying that programming is his ultimate hobby, and the luckiest part is that his hobbies and career are closely aligned. He also stated that the NULS project embodies the hard work of thousands of people in the NULS community. Its modularity, customizability and rapid upgrade iteration design are very advanced concepts and will continue to be maintained on the NULS project. It is through the joint efforts of the entire community that the NULS project has ranked the top of the GitHub blockchain project code activity for three consecutive months.

Douglas Foo: “Any blockchain project that is not commercially available is like a castle in the air.”

NULS project consultant and business tycoon Mr Douglas Foo from Singapore said in a speech that the purpose of technological development is for it to be applied to the real world. Any blockchain project that cannot be commercialized is unrealistic. Any research and development in the blockchain space must be conducted with the goal in mind of large scale application and commercial usage. NULS, he says, is doing a very good job at this. Its modularity and customizability greatly expand the breadth of future application deployment. The parallel multi-chain and cross-chain consensus design improve performance while also deepening the depth of application possibilities. He also stated that the reason he became a NULS project consultant was because he saw great imagination and aptitude for business in the NULS team.

Ken Huang: “I was confident in the project after confirming the code was great and meeting the team and thinking behind the project.”

Ken Huang, a former Huawei blockchain technologist who has served as a NULS project advisor, delivered a speech at the conference. He spoke from a purely technical perspective and highly endorsed the concept of the combination of modularity and micro-kernels in the NULS code. He also stated that before he was appointed as a consultant to the NULS project, he carefully examined the NULS code. The innovative thinking and dedicated attitudes of the NULS technical team gave him confidence in the project.

Dr James Bilitski: “NULS is trying to build a world fit for the future.”.

James Bilitski, an associate professor of computer science at the University of Pittsburgh, who is also a NULS project advisor, said at the conference that as a geek in the field of computers, he could see more and more challenges and opportunities looming in the wake of the rapidly developing blockchain technology. When changes brought about by the blockchain, such as technological upgrades, trust upgrades, and industrial revolutions are discussed, it should be realized that one single element will not trigger the qualitative change of the industry. Each element that constitutes blockchain technology like the code, consumption, manufacturing, culture and policy, etc will all interact with one another and influence the change. He says the NULS project clearly abides by this rule, and the universal enterprise-level blockchain technology solution is excellent. It will provide all the raw materials and kinetic energy required for future industrial growth.

Liesa: “We must be unrestrained yet grounded firmly in reality.”

On behalf of Liesa, a NULS community member outlined NULS’ practical commercial applications of the future. For example, application in: economic and global tourism, blockchain and charity, distributed recruitment, blockchain and auto parts, etc. He also carefully elaborated on the design concept of NULS’ modularity, parallel multi-chains and smart contracts to support these ideas.

The meeting lasted for four hours, an hour longer that it was supposed to, as it changed to an 11pm finishing time. This is so investors could continue to discuss their long-term commitment to the project. According to Wang Xiaoli, co-founder of NULS, NULS will hold meetings like this at new locations to help more people understand NULS’ universal enterprise-level blockchain solutions and encourage more people to participate in the construction of NULS’ ecosystem.

Nuls is a global blockchain open-source project which aims to be a highly customizable modular blockchain infrastructure, consisting of two parts: microkernel and functional modules. With a revolutionary mindset of weakening the main chain, Nuls aims to realise a highly modular underlying infrastructure through the elimination of service and case, and to that effect, provide smart contracts, multi-chain, cross-chain consensus and other operating mechanisms, reducing development and usage costs, and ultimately promoting the usage of blockchain technology in the commercial field.
